Communities In Schools of Memphis is part of the nation’s largest and most effective dropout prevention organization.
Communities In Schools of Memphis serves as the lead of the Education & Youth Anchor Collaborative – 1 of 6 community-led workgroups developing strategies for change and improvement in specific focus areas. Our group is working to address all elements of a child’s academic, social, and emotional development, including prenatal, early childhood, K-12 education, and postsecondary education. This will involve two-generation strategies and other systems-level approaches.
